Joke Of The Day

Now this really cracked me up.

Now you know how the new BMW's can go really fast right? The pure pleasure and handling experience and all that.

OK, so there was this guy went and bought a new BMW and decided to take it out for a spin (yes yes boys and their toys). So he decides to take it up as high as it will go just to 'test it out'. Then suddenly, he saw blue lights flashing in his rear view mirror. He thought to himself that no way a government car can catch my new BMW and stepped on the accelerator and sped off. Well, in some situations it may be true that you feel like you can outrun a cop car when if you are feeling cocky. Sure, outrun him now and get a friendly knock on your doorstep the next morning.

Anyway back to the story, the driver came to his senses and slowed down. When the traffic cop approached his car, he took out his drivers license and handed it to the cop without a word.

'It's been a long day, it is the end of my shift, and it's Friday the 13th. I don't feel like more paperwork, so if you can give me an excuse for your driving that I haven't heard before, you can go.' said the officer. By now I am sure that you are thinking of all sorts of excuses in your chair while reading this that a cop might not have heard. They have heard a lot of weird and lame excuses so thinking of going ' My wife is about to give birth or there's a fire at my house ain't gonna help and all that nonsense will just piss them off make them shake their head while writing you the ticket. So, here's the conclusion of the story.

The man thinks for a second and says, 'Last week my wife ran off with a policeman. I was afraid you were trying to give her back.'

'Have a nice weekend,' said the officer.
